Thomas Martin (the Auckland Lift Enthusiast) is an elevator filmer from Auckland, New Zealand. Aside from being an elevator enthusiast, Thomas is an avid train, bus, plane, and appliance enthusiast.
History[]
He launched his channel in February 2016 in order to document his passion for elevators. His first elevator video was posted on the 24th of June 2016 and since then he has gone on holiday to Christchurch and the United States where he will post videos of elevators he has seen on his journey. Unfortunately Thomas was unable to find any elevators to film in Christchurch so he's disappointed there.
Thomas's channel branding takes some inspiration from SkyCity and features the Auckland Sky Tower as the Sky Tower is has his favourite elevators.
He is currently the only elevator filmer living in Auckland, New Zealand, however, he is one of a few living in the North Island, the others being Alex Ellis, Lift & Rail Photography In NZ, Waygood Otis and NZ Lifts.
