Snorkitty is an American elevator, computing, and transportation enthusiast from Arlington, Virginia. He started his YouTube channel of this name on 12 September 2016. Because of the active and outgoing local elevator community, he typically films in the Washington, DC area, either solo or with friends. An avid traveler, he has also filmed in Australia[1], Canada[2], Germany[3], Hong Kong[4], Japan[5], Thailand[6], and the United Kingdom[7].
Trivia[]
- Snorkitty's name origin is unclear; it may have been inspired from a large pillow of Jibanyan, a character from the Yo-kai Watch franchise. The pillow, nicknamed "Kitty," sometimes appears in his videos.[8]
- He completed his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science in 2017.
- Mid-rise office buildings are his favourite for filming due to their quietness, and their wide variety of possible elevators within.
- His favourite elevators include Montgomery Vector, Hitachi A-type, Schindler with pop-out buttons, Schindler S-series, and Schindler 5500.
- Snorkitty has filmed with people from all over the world, including DieselDucy[9], Vincent561967[10], and NingSama[11].
